Primary school children were invited to a Fenland college to take part in a forensic science day.
Thirty four Year 5 pupils from Lionel Walden Primary School in March were shown chromatography, a forensic technique, by Cromwell Community College science teacher Dr Mark Pearson and fellow teacher Gemma Hensby.
After a break for cookie and juice, the children took part in flame testing and fingerprint techniques.
