The Jolly Fryer fish and chip shop in Wisbech received a certificate of appreciation from the Lions Club, after collecting more than £500 towards their charity work.
Restaurant customers were invited to buy a draw envelope to win free meals at the North End premises, and three lucky winners shared a total of 10 free lunches.
Stephen Jarvis, joint owner of the Jolly Fryer, said: “We were delighted to help Wisbech Lions Club. The project went very well, and our generous customers were very supportive. We look forward to doing it again soon.”
David Smart, the chairman of Wisbech Lions thanked the Jarvis family for their support, and presented the certificate which is now proudly displayed on the wall of the restaurant.
