CAMBS Primary Care Trust is acting in the same manner as the old East Cambs and Fenland PCT by targeting the people of south Fenland. By withdrawing the out-of-hours 'sufdoc' service from Doddington Hospital and transferring it to North Cambs Hospital at Wisbech it is putting lives at risk, especially the elderly population, in an attempt to save money. The people who are doing this are non elected, short sighted muffins.

Is this their interpretation of bringing health care closer to home? Is this classed as listening to the patients? Is this doing what the Government said it was doing, building a health service around the patients?

The answer to all three questions is no.
