A llama has been left with a neck injury that the owners say will leave it prone to infection for life after it was attacked by a dog.
The owners say their llamas were chased and attacked in a field in Doddington by a brindle coloured Staffordshire bull terrier.
The llamas, which have been checked over by vets, are kept in a field near Mega Plants Garden Centre in Hospital Road.
Elea Cuttridge said the llamas will be prone to infection for the rest of their life owing to their injuries.
She added the llamas are as well as they can be, but suspected it would be a long road ahead for their full recovery.
