Anyone with breathing problems is invited to take part in research being carried out by the University of Cambridge.
Breathe Easy Fenland is encouraging sufferers or their friends and family to get in touch to find out more about a workshop in Cambridge on Saturday 29. Contact 01354 651821.
The support group is for anyone in the Fens affected by lung problems.
At their September meeting the chairmen and three committee members listened to a director from Aseptica who explained more about their self-monitoring devices and web-based tools designed to help long-term lung disease patients to be active and stay healthy. This was followed by a talk from a member of the University of Cambridge research team who are working on a study of learning about breathlessness and are inviting carers to the workshop.
The next meeting is at St Peter’s Church Hall, March, on Thursday October 1 at 1.45pm or ring Sylvia on 01354 651821 for more information.
