DUKE of Edinburgh’s Award volunteers were presented with long service certificates by the Lord Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire Hugh Duberly.
The 16 volunteers from schools and organisations around Cambridgeshire were congratulated for their exemplary service - totalling more than 300 years - to the DofE Awards.
Lord Lieutenant Hugh Duberly paid tribute to their contribution at a special presentation at Shire Hall. He said the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and Cambridgeshire County Council were grateful for their commitment.
It’s thought that around 1,000 adults regularly give their time to help young people achieve the award across the county.
