Recovery crews are retrieving an articulated lorry this morning after it slid off a Fenland road and was left within inches of falling into a ditch.
The lorry, from QV Foods in March, left Whittlesey Road – a couple of hundred yards away from the factory – shortly before 9am.
A manhole cover, in the grass verge, was also damaged.
Crews from Welbourn’s of Wisbech are at the scene, using two recovery trucks to pull the lorry from its precarious ending position.
