A woman was counting her blessings today after a tree came crashing down on her car in a quiet West Norfolk road.
The woman motorist was driving along Gibbet Lane in Wereham (just off the A134 King’s Lynn to Mundford road) when the tree fell on her car.
The big oak landed swiftly and caused extensive damage to the car but happily the driver managed to get out relatively unscathed.
PC Rod Morrison Tweeted at just before 1.30pm to say the woman did not suffer any injures but was “just shaken up as you would be”.
The road was closed while the tree is removed.
