A MOTORIST had a lucky escape after emerging unscathed from a collision near Shippea Hill last night,
Our picture shows the shattered remains of the Ford Mondeo, which left the road at Highbridge Gravel Drove, which runs between Lakenheath and Shippea Hill, and careered into a tree.
The East of England Ambulance Service said that it did not attend the incident as there was no report of any injuries.
Police have since put a ‘police aware’ sticker on the door of the car, which remained at the side of the quiet fen road on Friday morning, its roof badly damaged and windscreen shattered.
Anyone with information on the incident should contact police on 101.
