Magpas air ambulance was dispatched to Chatteris yesterday afternoon (May 17) after reports that someone had cut themselves.
The man, in his 60s, was said to have “cut his leg and wrist” in the incident on Park Street, Chatteris.
A spokesman for Magpas said: “We received a call at 2.48pm to reports of an incident involving a man in his 60’s who had severely cut his leg and wrist with a disk cutter.
“The East of England Ambulance Service Trust dispatched an ambulance and Magpas Air Ambulance to the scene.
“The man was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Huntingdon; ambulance staff said he was expected to make a full recovery.”
