A MAN was taken to hospital last night after being run over by a tractor in the Fens.
Magpas Helimedix flew to the aid of the 32-year-old, from Crowlands, at around 7pm.
Medics treated the man at the scene before he was taken to Peterborough City Hospital by ambulance. His condition on arrival was stable.
Dr Fiona Bowles, from Magpas, said: “This shows how crucial the Magpas Helimedix service is especially at night. It is because of the joint service with the Cambridgeshire Police, that we are able to deliver such a rapid and coordinated response to anywhere in the East of England.
“This allows Magpas Helimedix to saves lives across East Anglia, night and day. All the emergency services worked incredibly well together, quickly and effectively at the scene.”
