A woman suffered serious elbow injuries after falling from a horse in a field in Chatteris yesterday.

Magpas Helimedix (Doctor Nick Scott and Paramedic Simon Standen) worked alongside an EEAST Ambulance crew to take care of the woman, who is in her 20s.

The Helimedix arrived at 2.10pm and sedated the patient, before straightening her elbow and putting protective measures into place for her arm.

The Helimedix then accompanied the woman in a land ambulance to Hinchingbrooke Hospital, where on arrival she was in a comfortable condition.
