A PEDESTRIAN who died following a collision with a car in Wisbech has been identified by police.
Jamie Butcher, 22, of Stow Lane, Wisbech, was in Churchill Road at about 4pm yesterday when he was involved in a collision with a Chrysler Cruiser car.
The northbound carriageway of Churchill Road was closed from 4.20pm till around 9pm while police investigated the collision and traffic was prevented from turning from Norwich Road onto Churchill Road.
Police have urged witnesses to the collision to contact Pc Francis Crawford of the roads policing unit on 0345 456 4564.
