A 47-YEAR-old man facing a series of indecency charges relating to underage boys is set to appear before a judge in July.
Philip Duke, of HMP Peterborough, is facing two charges of indecent assault on boys under the age of 14, one charge of indecent assault on a boy under 16 and a charge of inciting a boy under 16 to commit an act of gross indecency.
The offences are alleged to have taken place across Fenland in 2002.
Duke did not enter a plea when he appeared via videolink at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
Magistrates declined jurisdiction of the case and committed the 47-year-old to Cambridge Crown Court for a plea and directions hearing on July 1.
