Man airlifted to hospital after trapping his arm in machinery near Whittlesey

A man is in a serious but stable condition after an agricultural accident left his arm trapped in machinery.

The man, described as in his late teens, was given advanced pain relief at the scene near Whittlesey at at around 4.30pm yesterday.

He was then airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

East of England Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews, Fire and Rescue Services, and the Police also attended the scene.
