Man arrested in connection with fatal crash in Linton

A man has been arrested in connection with a fatal collision in Linton yesterday morning.

A young motorcyclist was killed in the early hours of yesterday morning in a road crash between Linton and Horseheath in Cambridgeshire on the A1307.

Ambulance crews attended but the motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 23-year-old man from Norwich was arrested yesterday afternoon on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop after a collision. He was taken to Parkside Police Station where he remains in custody.
