A MAN will appear in court today charged in connection with an assault at a Fenland pub earlier this year.
Patrick Beart, 43, of Truman Avenue, March, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm without intent following an assault at the Coachmaker’s Arms, March, on St Patrick’s Day.
The victim suffered a severe head injury in the assault at the Coachmakers and as a result he suffered a cardiac arrest.
Beart will appear before Peterborough magistrates today.
