A 32 YEAR old man from March has been arrested and charged following the theft of �25,000 worth of jewellery.
Robert Fitzjohn was arrested at his home in Abbeygate Court on Saturday and later charged with burglary.
He was held in custody over the weekend and remanded to prison following a short appearance today before Peterborough magistrates.
The charge alleges that between April4 and April 27 he stole the jewellery from a house in Norwood Avenue, March.
Fitzjohn is being questioned by detectives investigating up to 20 other burglaries in recent months.
