SIXTY-three-year-old March man John Pollock has denied charges of theft and deception.
Pollock - currently remanded in custody on charges of arson - appeared before Fenland magistrates on Tuesday.
He denies stealing a handbag and its contents, worth £415, from Cynthia Booth in March on February 16 last year, and stealing a bank card belonging to Christine Williamson between October 14 and 17 last year.
Pollock, of Richards Close, further denies obtaining a meal for two and drinks worth £22.30 by deception from Bar 23 in March on October 17 last year, and obtaining £25 in cash by deception from a member of Braza Club at March on February 18 last year.
He elected to go for trial at Cambridge Crown Court, and the case was adjourned for a committal hearing on December 19.
