A man has died after crashing into a water-filled ditch in Warboys.

A man has died after crashing into a water-filled ditch in Warboys.


A man in his 20s has died after he crashed into a water-filled ditch in Warboys.

Police are investigating after the man’s car left the road at entered the ditch on Puddock Road at just after 5.30pm yesterday (August 23).

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We received a call yesterday at 5.40pm to reports of a submerged car in Puddock Road. We sent an ambulance officer, ambulance crew, Magpas air ambulance, and the hazardous area response team.

“At the scene there was one patient involved, but sadly nothing could be done for them and they were pronounced dead at the scene. Our thoughts are with the family and friends involved at this very sad time.”

Anyone who witnessed the crash should contact the road policing unit on 101.
