A man in his 70s died in March market place after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest.
Ambulance and police attended the incident opposite the Griffin at about 2pm yesterday (Monday 15).
Four ambulance crews and a critical care paramedic from Magpas attended the scene.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Sadly despite the best efforts of the crews the man died at the scene.”
A police spokesman confirmed that the male had suffered a suspected cardiac arrest.
