A man in his 20s was left seriously injured after a collision between a car and a motorcycle near Wimblington last night.
“At 7.33pm yesterday evening (June 15) Magpas doctor Charlotte Haldane and paramedic Dan Read arrived in a rural location west of Wimblington via a Magpas Air Ambulance rapid response vehicle,” said a Magpas spokesman.
“They had been called to treat a man who had been seriously injured in a collision between a car and a motorcycle.
“The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient (in his 20’s) who had sustained multiple serious injuries and sedated him at the scene (providing him with A&E level care). “The team then accompanied the patient to Addenbrooke’s Hospital via land ambulance. He was in a serious but stable condition upon arrival.
“An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew and Cambridgeshire Police were also in attendance.”
