A man in his 50s was seriously assaulted by two hooded men in March last night.
Police were called to reports of violence in Station Road at about 7pm yesterday,
The victim was treated at the scene by the ambulance service and taken to Peterborough City Hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.
The men are described as white. One was wearing a grey hooded top with the hood up and grey jogging bottoms. The other was in a black coat.
The path outside Mirror Magic was taped off by police for a number of hours.
