A man was knocked unconscious after two forklift trucks collided, causing one of overturn, in Whittlesey on Monday.
At 4.04pm, crews from Stanground and Whittlesey were called to a collision at Hanson Bricks, Kings Dyke. A man in his 40s was trapped inside a forklift that had turned.
Firefighters used specialist equipment to release the men, who was left in the care of the ambulance service. East Anglian Air Ambulance was also in attendance. The man was taken to Peterborough City Hospital.
Crews returned to station by 5.05pm.
An East of England Ambulance spokesman said: “The East of England Ambulance Service Trust was called to an incident in Whittlesey at 4.58pm on Monday September 7.
“An ambulance, a Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) vehicle, a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance officer and the East Anglian Air Ambulance attended and treated a man in his 40s who was unconscious after two folk lift trucks collided.
“He was taken to Peterborough City Hospital by land ambulance for further care.”
