MARTIN Ellis, owner of the Griffin Hotel at March, has elected to be tried at Cambridge Crown Court on firearms charges.
Ellis, 51, is accused of possessing a TX 200 British Air Arms air rifle and a Poly-Kor slug cartridge without the necessary certificates on April 6.
He did not enter a plea when he appeared before Fenland magistrates on Tuesday, and the case was adjourned for a committal hearing on September 26.
