A Manea man has been left “gutted” after thieves stole his specialist racing boat and custom trailer from his driveway on Sunday.

Alan Fielding, of High Street, is offering a reward for information that leads to the return of his distinctive vehicles.

The boat, which is called ‘Itchy Bits’, has its name printed on the side whilst the trailer has orange carpets and blue runners.

“It’s not a run about or a pleasure thing,” he said.

“It’s a water-ski racing boat that can go up to 80 miles per hour and there’s been a lot of money spent on it.

“My son Matt has been European champion in the sport and we were just in the process of getting the team ready for the next season.”

Anyone with information should call Alan on 07778 739241 or 01354 680025. Alternatively, call police on 101.
