Nine air cadets took part in a Norfolk expedition as they work towards their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s award.
The cadets, of the 1220 (March) Squadron, planned their route then walked for two days, during which they were self-sufficient.
They were split in to two teams - one group of four completed their final expedition for the award while the second group of five, accompanied by an experienced cadet, used the weekend as practice for an expedition later in the year.
Cadet Alan Jackson, 14, of March, said: “It was great to be outside and away from technology for a couple of days. The good weather and team members helped me enjoy the experience. It was a lot of fun.”
