EIGHT cadets from 1220 (March) Squadron learnt about the evolution of air force communications during a visit to the RAF Signals Museum at RAF Henlow.
They saw radio, radar and related communication equipment dating from World War One to the present.
The cadets are studying advanced radio and radar as part of their Communications Award.
Cadet Matthew Ward was fascinated by the guided tour of the museum.
He said: “It was really interesting to see how radio has changed over the years.”
