An author who lives in March with her husband has released her first book.
Daryl Oliver’s debut title, ‘Steel Wool’, has been described as a compassionate must read for those touched by Alzheimer’s disease.
In the book, Mrs White, who has five grown up children, covers guilt and regret and gives insights in to the condition of Alzheimer’s, when is the right time to admit we can no longer cope, and how we make the decision to relinquish care to others?
Having experienced dementia both personally and professionally Daryl writes from the heart about an illness that we all hope we won’t need to face, say publishers of the book.
Daryl is currently studying a master’s degree in health care.
