A pair of primary school pals have proved they are a cut above by raising more than £400 through having their heads shaved.
Tai Warby was inspired to raise money for Cancer Research after learning about a family friend who was diagnosed and his friend Daniel Jones agreed to join him.
The 11 year old Burrowmoor Primary students started fund raising as soon as they hit on the charity idea and with sponsorship, support from family and a charity box in a local shop they have raised more than £400 with more donations coming in.
Tai’s mum Naomi Lagerman said: “They are so excited to have raised so much. I’m really proud of what they’ve achieved.”
She was joined by friend, hairdresser Kate Mills, who helped shave the boys heads.
