March Can’t Sing Choir’s first ‘end of term’ social evening has been hailed as a success.
Held at Trinity Church Hall on Wednesday March 29, there were lots of new faces, and some spirited singing of popular songs.
“We doubled our attendance with the lure of a bumper refreshments table, an Easter raffle, and entertainment by our choir leaders ‘Back Two’ – Sally Rose and Paul Hayward,” said secretary David Pye.
“A fun time was had by all, as we met our aims of healthy breathing exercise, mental stimulation (remembering the words, plus a few jokes), and learning something new, like how to sing in harmony and how to sing as a group.”
The committee held its next meeting last night (April 19).
