MORE than 50 people attended a charity garden barbecue on Sunday.
Members of March and Wisbech Lions, friends and relatives enjoyed an afternoon of fun and food at Trevor and Wendy Stockbridge’s house on Boundary Drive, March.
As well as delicious food, the guests were treated to performances by Bondi, Lisa Dickinson’s Dance Mania and Alice Darwood.
Four ‘senior shadows’ swapped their zimmer frames for plastic, blow-up guitars and pig-racing proved a big hit.
They raised £510 for DEBRA, an organisation which provides research into Butterfly Disease, a serious skin condition where the slightest knock, rub or even hug can leave the child in agony due to blistering of the fragile skin.
