A musical event in March took people from Cuban song to Samba with hands on drumming.
This year’s free family learning charity event, organised by the Fenland Music Centre Association and funded by the March Educational Foundation, saw percussion expert Anthony Paul take enthusiastic members of the local community on a journey of Latin American fun.
Authentic instruments echoed throughout an evening of Samba rhythms and styles.
A spokesperson for the FMCA said: “Anthony’s rhythmic workshops are admired up and down the country.
“His inclusive approach enables novices both young and old to partake equally, in totally new musical experiences without any fear of pressure or embarrassment.
“This is how learning should be; informative and fun!”
The FMCA runs a training orchestra, a community orchestra, concert band, senior string, wind and recorder ensembles and the Fenland Youth Swing Band.
They meet at March Community Centre, Station Road, March, on Friday evenings in term time only.
