March FACET centre opens new sensory room for students with learning disabilities

ADULTS with learning disabilties have enjoyed the newly completed sensory room with fibre optics and glitter ball at an educational centre in March.
Fenland Area Community Enterprise Trust (FACET), raised the money for the sensory room in their Marwick Road centre for their students.
The room has a water bed, fibre optics, sensory projector and a glitter ball amongst other items to encourage movement promote confidence and interaction.
Linda Ingram, FACET chief executive, said: “We are so thrilled with our sensory room as there is nothing comparable in the area, and the benefit to both our students and other people is huge.”
