Sarah Hunt, her sister Anne and mum Nana are seen dancing in their Christmas jumpers for a festive campaign by TalkTalk on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

Sarah said at first she thought it was a joke when she was asked if their family dance routine could be used.

The family, of All Saints Close, have been doing a different dance for a few years, now turned into their festive ritual, she said

“Now everybody on Facebook asks us what are we doing this year.

“Then I got a message from a company who asked if they could use it and I thought it was spam so ignored it.”

After realising the request was real, Sarah got the video licensed by the company, Storyful, and they sold it to Talk Talk.

The advert has now been viewed more than 150,000 times on Facebook and more than 65,000 times on Instagram.

David Parslow, group marketing director at TalkTalk, said: “We absolutely loved the video of the dancing family because it’s relatable, fun and celebrates those family moments that matter.

“Focussing on how real people live their lives, we’ve captured the little moments that make Christmas special.

“We wanted to show we understand what really matters to our customers, especially at this time of year, when the products we provide are instrumental in bringing the family together.”
