A March funeral director has been named as the best medium-sized funeral planner in the east for the fourth time at the Funeral Planner of the Year Awards.
Turner & Sons, on City Road, scooped the award at a ceremony presented by the BBC’s Dan Walker earlier this month.
The awards, now in their 24th year, are the UK’s biggest annual gathering of independent funeral directors and the event this year took place at the Park Plaza London Riverbank Hotel.
Mark Turner, senior partner of Turner & Son, said: “We are extremely proud to have won this award for the fourth time. This reflects the commitment of our staff to our clients and continued professional service to the bereaved of the area.”
The Funeral Planner of the Year Awards focus on the achievements of independent funeral directors, who make up a majority of the funeral profession.
