MARCH Golf Club raised more than �200 for the Papworth Hospital Charity by playing a fundraising nine-hole competition.
The club’s seniors organised the Stableford competition to raise money for their chosen charity.
Sarah Oldham was the ladies’ winner in the competition which is involves a scoring points system based on the number of strokes taken at each hole rather than the number of total strokes taken in a round.
The men’s winner was Mick Hagerty with nearest the pin prizes going to Geoff Oldham and Ms Oldham. A total of �227 was raised.
