March Lions Club raised more than £600 for the National Autistic Society when members held a charity barbecue.
The money has been donated to the society’s Cambridge branch, which will use it to extend the services it delivers to people across the county.
Lion Alexander Groome said: “The £615 that was raised will be going towards use in Cambridgeshire to help with the difficulties that families have when someone suffers from the life-long disability.”
