TALENTED boxers could find themselves sparring in a new ring after a £250 donation from March Lions Club.

March Amateur Boxing Club received the donation after Lions members - who attended the club’s sold-out show at the Braza in April - were impressed with their work in supporting young people across Fenland.

Bernie Wing, March ABC coach, said: “Getting a second ring is vital for our boxers and this will help massively with our efforts to buy one.

“We’ve got so many people using the club now that we really need another boxing ring. It would allow more people to spar at the same time which would be excellent.

“A donation like this is really appreciated by everyone involved with the club.”
