A March man charged with making an explosive device and possession of an explosive has had his case committed to Cambridge Crown Court.
Tris Jackson will next appear on November 24.
The 44 year old, of Badgeney Road, remains in custody.
Jackson was charged following an early morning arrest on Sunday 8.
Involved in the operation were incident response units, ambulance, police and a fire engine, alongside bomb disposal experts.
