A March man in his 60s was assaulted with a metal bar before thieves stole money and a gold chain from his caravan in Longhill Road on Saturday (14).
The victim opened his caravan door at 9.30pm to see two men in balaclavas who assaulted him and made threats before searching his caravan.
A police spokesman said the man did not suffer any injuries as a result of the aggrevated burglary.
