Ten different gardens will be open to visitors in March on various dates throughout the summer to raise funds for the upkeep of two churches: St Peter’s and St Mary’s.
The gardens are listed in a free leaflet that is available at both churches and other outlets in the town including the library and the museum.
The first to open will be Middle Fen Farm, 257 Whittlesey Rd, March on Saturday April 30 from 2pm until 5pm with Liz and Joel Grieco. This is a three-acre garden with river frontage and a good selection of trees: a lovely spot for a springtime walk finishing with tea and cakes.
