A March pet shop owner is due to appear in court in connection with charges under the Animal Welfare Act.
Robert Phipps, 35, of Elm Road, March, is appearing at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court in connection with charges being brought by the RSPCA relating to 34 dogs.
Phipps, who owns The Pet Shop in Station Road, March, had 34 dogs taken from his Pet Shop warehouse, which he also used as a dog rescue centre, in Commercial Road, March, in February.
He is due in court on Friday September 19.
