A post office in March will from next month start opening seven days a week.
The Wisbech Road branch, which currently does not open on Sundays, will be shut for nine days from November 4 while modernisation work takes place. It will re-open at 1pm on November 13.
The new opening hours will be Monday to Friday 7am-6.30pm, Saturday 7.30am-6.30pm and Sunday 8am-1pm.
Kevin Shepherd, area manager, said: “We are confident this vibrant new-style Post Office at the heart of the community will be popular.”
Alternative branches are March Post Office at Tesco Express or Wimblington Post Office.
