March primary school’s youngsters learn about King Henry VIII during Tudor day

YEAR 4 pupils at Burrowmoor Primary School dressed in Tudor clothes as they continued to learn about Britain’s history.

Youngsters learnt about King Henry VIII and his six wives and all aspects of Tudor life before enjoying a traditional banquet.

Elsewhere, some of the nursery children at the March school visited the library last week.

Librarian Audrey Morton read them a book as part of an onging experiment and has been given seven picture books used in the Cambridgeshire Children’s Picture Book competition.
