March residents told by Police to be vigilant after suspected distraction burglary

POLICE are advising March residents to be cautious after a suspected attempt of distraction burglary last week.

Using the E-Cops messaging service, police have issued a warning after a white male in his 30s offered to clear the moss from the roofs of elderly residents.

He drives an unmarked white van, is fairly short with dark hair, wears work clothes/overalls, and does not have any ID with him.

Police have urged residents to report if they have been a victim of distraction burglary.
