MOTORISTS encountered huge tailbacks in Fenland on Saturday after a car was in collision with a dog.
A car struck the German Shepherd dog in Wimblington Road, March, at 4.55pm. The dog was seriously injured and was taken to a vet for treatment.
Wimblington Road was closed near the junction with Lambs Hill Drove while the scene was cleared, leaving cars to turn around and find an alternative route into town.
