March joined communities across the country yesterday (Thursday) evening in lighting a beacon to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday.
Hundreds of people packed West End Park in March to watch as the beacon was lit with the help of mayor Rob Skoulding. The crowds then sang ‘happy birthday’ to her majesty
There was also live music and a hog roast in the park until around 9.30pm.
