The 2018 March Summer Festival takes place on June 9 and the March Lions are looking for a prince and princess to lead the annual event this year.
The winning entrants will ride in a carriage through town leading the parade and then they will officially open the gala.
They will then spend the afternoon visiting the stalls and generally taking in the event.
Anyone between the age of eight and 13 is invited to enter the competition. Please email a picture with the child’s name and age as well as the contact details of a parent to ben.jolley@archant.co.uk
The closing date for this competition is May 25. The March Lions will then choose the winners.
Last year’s princess was 10-year-old Cavalry Primary pupil Caitlin Beaumont.
March Summer Festival is a major community event which has been running alongside the March Lions Club Gala in its present form since 2000.
