I JUST wanted to say what a great event the summer festival was, but also to highlight the contribution to the parade day of Georges, with first-class music from the Delta Pilots while we waited for the parade.
The music continued with other artists playing to the crowds at Georges’ ‘Fringe Event.’
Scooted N Booted finished their set at the festival stage and then played at Georges to a full house in the evening. Fantastic entertainment, appreciated by many and supplying a well-controlled, more mature environment away from the youngsters in the park for their parents to relax and let their hair down.
Great! Well done Georges.
Let there be a lot more next year as I’m sure it will draw more people into the town, hot on the footsteps of the recent success of this year’s St George’s Day Parade.
